If you think there is a possibility that you may return, it is always better to freeze your membership so that you can lock your current rate in place. If cancelling, you will no longer be eligible for your current rate if/when returning to a membership.
Our policies permit freezes for up to 2 months, once every 365 days. Open-ended suspensions are allowed in cases of injury, surgery, pregnancy, etc.
Please note that cancellation requests must be submitted at least 7 days prior to next billing date in order to ensure you will not be billed. You will receive email confirmation that your account has been cancelled. If you do not receive that confirmation within 72 hours, call 212.245.2525.
