Summer began teaching Yoga in 2009. She has experience with Bikram, Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Nidra methods of yoga which has shaped her into the teacher and practitioner she is today. Summer‘s deep passion for yoga infuses her Bikram and Vinyasa classes with what she describes as “positive, uplifting and happy” energy, while her approach to Yin and Nidra is with thoughtful, healing stillness. Using different disciplines to augment and complement a group’s energy and journey through a class, brings balance to each participant’s overall practice.
Summer likens her experience of yoga to being in prayer; a physical practice to love her body and her God for giving her the gift of a body to stretch and feel, and the yoga community as a place to grow, reflect, heal, and just be. Her deep love of yoga benefits all those who step into her classroom.
