Olivia’s interest in yoga began with a physical practice over 16 years ago. She was simply in search of something to do where she could move her body and feel good. She never expected that it would change her life! It took only 6 months after beginning her practice for her to make plans to become a teacher.
Olivia has completed the 500-hour Bikram teacher training and 200-hour Vinyasa training, along with countless continuing education courses and workshops.
Olivia believes that yoga is an opportunity to connect with one’s self – physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically and spiritually. Her absolute favorite aspect of teaching, whether it’s a full group class or a private lesson, is to see when a student makes this connection in their own practice. She cherishes and honors the privilege of contributing to such an experience.
You can find Olivia teaching her very popular Chillax class at UES and Flatiron locations. In this class Olivia combines helpful hands-on adjustments alongside great music.
She also teaches Hot Bikram and Hot Vinyasa 2/3.
In addition to teaching at bodē NYC, Olivia has lead workshops throughout the city and retreats in Costa Rica. You can learn more about Liv for Yoga here.
