Introducing Youth Yoga!
Bodē Youth Yoga consists of an hour-long Hatha Yoga class focusing on physical postures and meditation. Hatha Yoga provides proven tools for deepening and enhancing health, academic skills, and physical fitness. Children learn how to move mindfully with breath awareness, and sustain their concentration. They simultaneously develop strength, flexibility, balance, mental clarity and emotional stability. Class is for ages 11-17.

About the instructor, Joseph Encinia:
What led you to your practice and then to teach?
Surviving a Heart Attack and learning to deal with my Rheumatoid Arthritis. I suffered physically from a young age and this practice turned it around. I became a teacher to share with others how to heal themselves.
Describe your teaching style and specialties:
Technical with an emphasis on the healing benefits of the postures.
Give us a passion of yours outside of yoga:
I love biking, gardening and playing guitar.
