Thank you all again for your outpouring of support and well wishes. We don’t expect these videos to be perfect to start, but we do promise we’ll work to improve the quality in the days and weeks to come.
If you were in a position to keep your membership with us, we can’t thank you enough and all live streaming classes are included. If you are not a member, you can still register for classes for $10 each, or purchase a pack of classes.
Please note that the revenue from our streaming classes goes directly to support the staff members who run the platform behind the scenes and handle all client support and memberships, as well as to our wonderful instructors who teach the classes. We couldn’t do it without your support, so thank you all so much. Please keep spreading the word to family and friends to help keep bodē nyc going!
To connect to class:
1️⃣ Open the bodē nyc app > select “streaming” as your location at the TOP OF YOUR SCREEN > choose the class you which to attend > register for class.
2️⃣ You must register at least 30 minutes before class begins. Online class capacity is limited so to confirm your space, register ahead of time.
3️⃣ You will receive a confirmation email with a link to join the zoom meeting 20 minutes before the start of class. You DO NOT need a zoom account to take class. You only need the app.
UPDATE; March 16th, 2020:
For those of you who have been with us since the beginning, you know that for 20 years we have kept our doors open through hurricanes and national disasters. We have always been committed to being there for you during difficult times as we truly believe that yoga helps keep us all balanced and healthy.
However, this crisis is unlike anything we have experienced before, and as small business owners, we have been faced with a challenging decision.
Today, Monday, March 16th, will be our last day of classes in the studio at this time. It is about proactively helping to prevent further spread of the virus to those who are at higher risk from this disease.
Thank you to all of you who have reached out to us and thanked us for staying open (until now) and those of you who have told us how much you need your yoga. We don’t want to leave you without the ability to practice and are working quickly to bring you online classes that you can join in from home and keep your practice going with some of your favorite teachers. You can practice the Original Hot Yoga series without heat. Just be more mindful to not push your body as much as you do in the hot room.
All of this digital content will be included in your membership, and we sincerely hope to keep your support. We are deeply grateful for YOU. As a small business, your memberships are what keep OUR COMMUNITY going. If you are a yearly or auto-renew member, we will add on the number of days we are closed to the end of your membership or year. All class package expirations will also be extended.

We understand this can be an uneasy time, and we want to thank you all for your support in keeping our studios a safe and healthy environment for us all. Safeguarding your health and well-being is and always will be our highest priority. Please give us your continued patience and positivity as we take this one day at a time. All classes are currently on as scheduled. This is a perfect time to incorporate what our practice teaches us about awareness and remaining calm. A regular practice promotes a healthy immune system by lowering stress hormones and also boosts your circulation and lymphatic systems while conditioning your lungs and respiratory tract. If you are healthy, keep coming to class! This virus cannot be spread by sweat.
In the meantime, please take note of-
What we’re doing:
🌱We sanitize all props, benches, floors, door handles, handrails, sink handles, toilet handles, lockers and other surfaces many times throughout the day and after each use for blocks and mats. The cleaning products we use are Simple Green, Betco AF79, Clorox Wipes, and industrial cleaners that kill 99.9% of viruses including COVID-19.
👣We spray yoga floors between each class with Enviro Care Neutral Disinfectant, a bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal and mildewstatic. We also spray Dr. Schulze’s Air Detox between all classes.
🧘🏽We have implemented smaller class capacities to create more space for practitioners.
👐🏽We are not offering hands on adjustments for the time being.
💧We have added additional Purell bottles around the studio for your use- in locker rooms, at the front desks and on the teacher podiums.
👩🏽⚕️We are not coming to work if we don’t feel well.
What you can do:
❌ Do not come to the studio if you have any symptoms of illness or have recently flown internationally.
🚰 Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
💻 Regularly disinfect frequently used items like your cell phone, computer, yoga mat and water bottle.
👀 Avoid touching your face, nose and eyes.
🥤 Stay hydrated.
💤 Get plenty of sleep.
🍊 Get your vitamins.
💧 Use alcohol based hand sanitizer in between hand washing.
