Yoga is a journey of the self, through the self, to the self.
“I am grateful for this opportunity to lead yoga classes at bodē nyc and help students access and harness their internal power. The stronger the mind body connection, the stronger and more resilient one becomes. Leading Bikram classes as well as Yin Nidra classes has been a wonderful way to combine my various trainings and share the wisdom tradition of yoga.”
Chrystine was born in Michigan, raised in the Reno/Tahoe area, and has been living in NYC for 31 years. She has been practicing Bikram Yoga since 2000, was certified in Bikram Yoga in the fall of 2005, and has been teaching steadily ever since. Chrystine also trains in the Kripalu tradition and is currently a 200hr Kripalu certified teacher and will complete her 300hr training in the spring of 2019.
“It is an honor to help students recognize the guideposts yoga shows us on the journey to the self. Come join us as often as you can.”
Chrystine teaches our Bikram Yoga classes and very relaxing Yin Nidra classes.
We all have various things that inspire us throughout our lives and in addition to my yoga practice here are a few things that are giving me hope and good cheer these days.

Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.
Of all the various delusions, the sense of discrimination between oneself and others is the worst form, as it creates nothing but unpleasantness for both sides.
